Facilities for Hire
PLEASE NOTE : OUR 3G PITCH IS CURRENTLY FULLY BOOKED FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2020/21.
Burnham Grammar School has an excellent range of facilities for hire which include a newly refurbished 3G synthetic pitch, a sports hall/gym, hall, dining area, classrooms and more.
Facilities are available between 5:30pm-10pm weekdays, 8am-10pm Saturdays and Sundays by prior arrangement.
The facilities enable us to offer a venue to a variety of clubs and businesses, which include football clubs of all ages, rugby clubs, gymnastics clubs, toddler clubs, music schools, tuition and coaching courses, performing arts schools, etc.
Our hall and dining area can provide a fantastic venue for a show or performance, we even have an amazing stage crew who can be hired for the event!!

We are pleased to offer a 3G pitch with a new Desso synthetic turf system, which is suitable for both football and rugby use. The turf system has been engineered according to the World Rugby Regulation 22, ensuring the highest quality, safety and meeting the RFU testing/world rugby standard.
The pitch has been updated with a pair of Full Size Rugby Posts, new Full Size Portable Aluminium Football Goal Posts and 3 pairs of 5-a-side Rollaway Self-Weighted Elliptical Aluminium Goals (16’x4’).
Changing rooms available nearby and the use of floodlights during the winter months, a small additional charge applies.
Please see our footwear requirements below for the Astro, which must be strictly adhered to.
The Sports Hall & Dance Studio
The Sports Hall is opposite our dance studio, various sports can be played in the hall or perhaps you would like to run a coaching course.
The hall is often used in the winter months by clubs before moving outside onto the field in the warmer weather. Toilets and changing rooms are nearby.
The dance studio is currently unavailable due to Covid 19 restrictions and therefore is not available for hire at this time.
Hall & Dining Area
The hall can be used in a number of ways – exam hall, a conference and meeting area, a performance venue and other events.
For shows and performances we have auditorium seating as well as floor seating, with a maximum capacity of 220 people. There is a projector, sound system, lighting rig, stage and stage crew available, if required.
The toilets are located close by, including disabled access.
The dining hall is conveniently situated opposite the hall, should you need to offer refreshments.
The classrooms are a perfect setting to run a course or a workshop.
All of our classrooms can seat approximately 30 people with desk and surface space, each classroom is equipped with a dry-wipe whiteboard and access to power outlets. All rooms are located to nearby toilets.
All hirers are permitted to provide the school with the following information prior to the start of the letting:
- The Lettings Policy completed and signed by the hirer and the Finance Director
- A copy of the organisation’s child protection policy*
- A letter of assurance that all staff are appropriately DBS cleared*
- A copy of the organisation’s Public Liability insurance
- Details of the organisation’s first aid arrangements
*if U18s will be present / participating.
The hirer should indemnify the School from and against any liability, damages, costs, charges and expenses incurred by the School as a result of any breach by the hirer of the conditions of the Lettings Policy

Burnham Grammar School would also encourage parents, carers and other individuals to research, make their own enquiries and assessments to satisfy themselves as to the suitability of the events, clubs and courses, held at the School before enrolling.
