Please see below for a list of activities and support that the Physical Education Department are providing during lock down for BGS Students :
Google Classrooms
Your son/daughter will have received sign up information for their PE Google Classroom, please encourage them to do so if they haven't already.
Physical activity and wellbeing journal
Your son/daughter has been asked to sign up to a Google Classroom which has a physical activity and wellbeing journal document. Inside the document are workout ideas for the whole family and ways in which students can maintain their activity levels, alongside challenges to try out.

Check ins with students
On the week commencing Monday 18th January, PE staff will be organising a check in with students over their timetabled lesson to discuss ways in which they are maintaining their health and wellbeing and to see if any further support is required.
Daily Lunchtime Clubs
Your son/daughter has been sent a sign up code to a Google Classroom where a member of the PE Department runs a 30 minute activity each day, please encourage them to come along to a session and join in! the sessions run 1.45 - 2.15 and are open to all students.
Monday - Pilates - Miss Knibbs
Tuesday - Hockey skills - (stick, ball and a small amount of indoor space or patio required) - Mr. Lawson
Wednesday - HIIT Fitness - Mr. Churchouse
Thursday - Football skills (ball and a small amount of indoor space or patio required) - Mr. Eaton
Friday - Relaxation and wellbeing - Mrs. Ive
Interhouse Competition
Following on from the success of last summers virtual sports day, towards the end of January the PE Department will be running an interhouse competition for students to get involved with, more details to follow on this!
