School Diversity Week is during 21st - 25th June 2021. Every year at the end of June, young people across the country show their support for equality and respect, especially for LGBT+ equality.

BGS is proud to be part of #schoolsdiversityweek because we believe every child should be able to be themselves. 

We are using some of the resources from the LGBT & Young People's Charity 'Just Like Us'

As part of #schoolsdiversityweek we are running the following events in school : 

• A Whole School letter writing competition about Human Rights in the Middle East 
• Year 10 will also take part in a workshop and Presentation about Human Rights in July. 
• Sixth Formers will have access to the :'Just like Us' Online Masterclasses. 
• The Diversity Prefects are launching our Diversity and Inclusion Survey. 

As students, staff and the BGS Community, we would love for you to share with us about your experiences of Diversity at Burnham Grammar School. 

This includes LGBTQ+ and other forms of Diversity including:  

• disability
• gender
• race
• religion or belief
