Dear Students
As a school, we are mindful that ongoing events in the Middle East may be deeply affecting members of our community. We recognise that many of our students, staff, and families have personal, cultural, or ancestral connections to the region, and that the news can be a source of significant distress, anxiety, or grief. It is very possible that some students, potentially of all backgrounds and faiths, could have relatives living or working in these areas or even unable to return home at the end of a holiday.
Our priority is to ensure that every student feels safe and supported during this time. We want to remind everyone that you do not have to process these feelings in isolation.
If you are feeling overwhelmed or simply need a space to talk, please know that our staff are here for you. We encourage you to:
Your Form Tutor or Class Teacher: They are available every morning to listen and can help you manage if you are struggling to focus.

We are lucky to be welcoming the Olive Branch Award visitors 'Solutions not sides' this month; if you are interested in being involved and finding out more about conflict in this area, please let Mrs Bola know. We remain committed to maintaining a school environment built on empathy, respect, and inclusion. We ask that all students continue to show kindness to one another, acknowledging that we may not always know the personal burdens our peers are carrying.
