Our students have made us proud - again!

Both the council & Burnham Park Hall were thrilled with a table that our very own Technology department designed, manufactured and delivered celebrating Burnham and it's history.

This community project started in mid October and is an essential part of the Technology A-Level course. Burnham Park Hall was chosen as the client because it is local and part of the community. The project brief was to design and create a product for members of the community to see on the first floor seating area.

Eight hard-working students worked closely together with the client to meet the design brief. The selected design was a table with a specified space to hold four books containing history of Burnham from the 1900s to 2020. Additionally, it also holds a miniature map of Burnham with small key locations within the area. Through this community project the students learnt the history of Burnham and how to use feedback to adapt their work and meet the design brief.

Our students enjoyed this project from start to finish and became a stronger team along the way.
