This term, our Years 9–13 students welcomed Solutions Not Sides (SNS) for an interactive workshop on navigating complex global affairs, focusing on the Israel–Palestine conflict.
Through very moving personal stories from Palestinian and Israeli guest speakers, students explored media bias, tackled misinformation, conflict resolution strategies and practiced active listening, empathy, and constructive debate.
Beyond global awareness, and not claiming to provide any definite answers, these sessions equip students with essential life and career skills. This will be part of our ongoing Diversity work in school to ensure our students are caring individuals and active citizens!
