On Friday 14th July, Year 9 students had a ‘World of Work’ Careers Day.

They had a full day of activities, with a range of different speakers from different industries and sectors.

Sessions in the day included a CV Writing & UNIFROG Workshop with Mrs Chidgey, University Vs Apprenticeships Information with BGS    Alumni & Employees from Coca Cola, a Law/Debate & Working in Media/Radio Workshop and a Pharmaceuticals/Medicine Careers Workshop with Amicus Therapeutics.

The day was a wonderful opportunity for Year 9 students to think about the world of work, and their aspirations for the future.

A huge thank you to all of the speakers, alumni & organisations who supported the day. Well done Year 9 students for embracing challenge and enjoying the day!
