In July 2023, BGS students took part in the fantastic Netball and Rugby Tour to South Africa. 

Over twelve days, students took part in a jam-packed itinerary where they visited many key attractions and sights of South Africa. 

The students visited The Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point, Boulders beach, Langa township, Table Mountain, Robben Island, Garden Route game reserve, Cango Caves, Safari Ostrich Farm and Monkey land.

Students also visited Baphumelele Orphanage, where they were able to interact with young children and play games. 

Alongside this they played three netball and rugby matches against some tough opposition of local teams. The students showed fantastic teamwork and progressed in every match, managing to secure three wins across both sports. 

The trip was an incredible experience for our students. One they will never forget!
