We recently welcomed back to Burnham Grammar School, BGS Alumni, Sophie Mcgiffen from Samsung Technologies.

Sophie delivered both a talk and workshop to our Year 8 cohort and selected Year 12/13 students. The talk to Year 8 students focused on employability skills, her marketing career to date at Samsung, and the many opportunities that Samsung offer to young people. 

She also delivered a brand marketing workshop with selected Year 12/13 students, interested in studying marketing or working for a technology based career. The workshop gave students the opportunity to work on a 'marketing brief' for a Samsung product and how they would develop these skills in a real work setting.
